Lots of stuff over the weekend! Here is the weekend roundup!
"VIP Badge does nothing." according to Positron in
his attempt to clear up some yelling about the badge that requires you
to purchase the DVD or the special powers pack that is planned.

Statesman gave out some information on the upcoming update 3.
Expansion 3 will have 2 Epic Archtypes (woot!) and many many Epic Power
Pools! Right here! Also he mentions some art and AI updates in another post here.

Not much going on today. We have a post
from Statesman talking about sprucing up lower level content so that
you can have a better experience playing through a second time. Sorta
interesting... Also Positron has dropped in and mentioned that "Blue Steel is not a member of the Freedom Phalanx" in this post here. Woot? *cough* |

- October 22, 2004 (22:00:00 GMT) - A special emergency meeting of the
Federal Bureau of Superpowered Affairs, the Governor, the National
Guard, FEMA, city authorities and various representatives of the
leading super groups has been convened to discuss evidence of an
imminent threat to the city. Though reports are sketchy at the moment,
the meeting was requested by noted Professor of Esoteric Anthropology,
Dr. Nathaniel A. Bierce and SERAPH's Professor Jonathan St.John-Smythe.

But!! A new patch snuck its way in yesterday. At least if I'm
reading the update page properly. Key things that spark my attention
are:
- An Exemplar can now form or join a Task Force group.

Play it again Statesman... Another blurb from Statesman indicating
that Dark Armors will be stackable as well as some other armor types.
He mentioned this in the recent chat held with Stratics and he mentions
it again in this thread.
Yes, we're changing DA so that the armors are stackable. Yes, we're changing other armors that have the same issues.
I'd
like to get this in soon - if not in the upcoming Expansion, then right
after - as soon as I know for certain, I'll post something.

UnSub decides to tear into the rumor mill this time. He tackles this thread that someone started on the Vault network and triggered this other thread
that popped up on the official CoH boards. From what I can tell the
only source of this is the one post on the vault by some user just
speculating what might actually be happening with the 5th event.
